James England director of Creative Video Agency End Frame

JAMES ENGLAND

Founder &
Creative Director

Originally a geek from a post-production background James has dabbled in every type of genre at some point, from starting off in TV, creating online campaigns to cutting TVC’s on-set, his true talents lie in Branded Content and Commercial. Not only a post nerd, he has branched out to other areas of production becoming a skilled camera operator and director.

Managing Partner &
Creative Director

Matt’s route to End Frame took him travelling all over the world Shooting and Directing for many clients as a freelancer – which is lucky, because he likes Shooting, Directing and travelling all over the world! However, many of his most enjoyable projects have been closer to home, if he’s filmmaking he’s happy (he could even do it on a cold and rainy night in Stoke).

OUR STORY

End Frame came to life through James England. Initially a company to serve all of your post-production needs, James was a fine Editor with an unhealthy interest in the nitty gritty technical stuff and a strong penchant for reading about codecs.

James met Matt when he was Directing a car shoot as a freelancer, the relationship quickly escalated to having beers with each other, talking about new kit releases and even sharing the occasional vaguely amusing GIF.

As time moved on they found themselves collaborating on projects for other companies as the main creative forces and clearly enjoyed working with each other. Of course the time came when they asked themselves, “Why don’t we do this ourselves?”

And so here we are, Matt joined James at End Frame as a partner. With these talents combined End Frame now offers a full ‘End to End’ Production service.

Both crossover into each other’s areas of expertise (except the love of codecs, that’s all James), and both get to collaborate not only in creating something new but in making films – the shared love of which sparked this relationship into life all those years ago.

A fairytale as old as time.
